Discriminated against Newfoundland/Labrador once more in the fishery
Islanders (PEI)who go out fishing on a private vessel can catch up to five groundfish a day, including cod. Customers of deep sea fishing charters will be able to catch and keep up to two cod each, with a maximum of 25 cod per boat per trip.

The recreational fishery will be open for the months of July and August.

Newfoundland/Labradorians are allowed 5 weeks in August the worse time for a cod fishery with a daily catch limit of 5 fish per day and 15 per boat per day.
Why are NL's charter boats not allowed this same catch limit per boat? Second class citizens is what we are.
