Harper Govt in Conflict of interest on Hebron Ben-Nevis Fallow Field legislation

Because Harpers govt is primarily made up of Alberta MP's. It is understandible that his govt would have the intersts of the Oil Sands as their main focus of interest. So any other interests that would hinder or in any way shape or form harm the development of the labour, infrastrucure intensive process of extracting the oil from the sand would be in contravention of his parties priorities.

So it's no wonder Harper who is now in charge of the Governments 10 % controlling interest in the Hebron Ben-Nevis project would not want to see that project move forward anytime soon because it would be in direct competition with the Alberta Tar sands project in his home province which makes up a large part of his caucas.

So I really wasn't surpried when Harper being a part owner of the Hebron Ben-Nevis oil field rejected the Fallow Field legislation that Premier Danny Williams proposed due to the exorbidant demands being Made by E$$on/Mobile and the consortium.

It really is funny when you consider that Aalberta implemented Fallow Field legislation for their tar sands back in the 70's. Alberta's mineral rights are soley owned by the province unlike NL which has to deal with the outside controlling interest of Ottawa which at this time is in a conflict of interest IMHO.

The same analogy could be arrived at for Kyoto.

Harper never did open the books as to who funded his campaign? I wonder why?

Once again Newfoundland/Labrador is being hung out to dry because of a conflict of interest by it's partner. The same as happened with the Upper Churchill negotiations. Read for yourself "Origins of an impending crisis" which documents the negotiations leading up to the Upper Churchill Shaft.
