Dear Say and frog fences
When I was in Germany and frequenting the local Ghastaffs Bars.I had the occasion of attending a wild game diner one night. Actually it was a lone deer community feast.
Apparently they have these Forest Meisters in Germany that are in charge of a specific section of forest area. The Forest Meister FM is in charge of all of the plants, animals and the enviroment in his specific area. So when you get a licence to shoot a deer you go out with the FM and he sits behind you in the tree stand or blind and he points out the animal which you are allowed to shoot. More often than not is a deer with a broken leg or an elderly deer. Then you take the animal back to the local Ghastoff BAR and it is cooked and shared up amongst the local inhabitants.
Now this is probably over simplified and a little blurred because of the quantities of beer consumed but it struck me as a good idea for our native communities to be put in charge of our natural enironment and animals as Forest Meisters.
They were also in charge of thinning the forests to promote faster growth as well as clean the underbrush out but this was discontinued because they discovered that the lack of under brush was impacting on the top soil development. This is why it was so nice to walk in the Black forest because all of the under brush was cleaned up and the forests were thinned to allow for great hiking and Mountain biking.
This would mean full time employment in an area which our native communities and people would have a close connection with. I know if I wanted to go hunting I would want a native to be my guide.
As a side note I noticed these ping pong tablesized fences along the side of the road that channeled small animals specifically frogs to culverts so they wouldn't get killed because they like to sun themslves on the warm pavement. Save a frog kill 1000 mosquitos.

we have a long way to go to get that far ahead in our society with the way the arse is out of it now. That would be foresight and right now with a fishery that we can't manage, it's unlikely anyone can put together somthing liek that to protect the people left here. Soon the moose will be in the trees shooting us!
