Ontario Energy plan press release Working with Quebec to develop Lower Churchill.

Here is an excerpt from the recently released Ontario Government Moving Forward On Energy Plan.

-Working with Quebec to develop a major hydroelectric generation project at the Lower Churchill River in Labrador, from which 670 megawatts would come to Ontario.

So Ontario is planning on working with Quebec to develop Newfoundland and Labradors Lower Churchill Hydro project HMMM. Did anybody happen to look at a map and realize that the Lower churchill is within the province of NL and that any discussions to develop the Lower Churchil should be done with Newfoundland and Labrador?

Sounds like little old NL is getting ganged up on once again. In fact they have even worked out some of the specifics, that is 670 Megawatts that Ontario would get from such a partnership with Quebec for Newfoundland and Labradors resource.
Comments:
The so-called "Churchill" River is in Labrador, not Newfoundland.
