On the Bus off the Bus!

When I was in Alberta I used to have to take a bus ride for one hour every morning and night to get to work. Just like the old school days bus in the morning bus at night.
Now for anyone who has had to ride a bus to and fro from School everyday they probably remember the back of the bus and the antics or bordom. But I actually enjoyed those bus rides in Alberta why?

Well we used to have table cut outs that we wedged in between the seats and played cards the whole time to and from work. Euchre was the game of choice sometimes we played hearts or what ever but it sure made the time fly by and even made you look forward to going to work.

Now if we were to do something like this for our increasing number of students who are having to take buses to and from school I think it would make a big difference in how our kids would look at going to school specifically riding the bus.

They could even put satellite dishes ontop of the buses with wireless routers so our kids could access study information while traveling to and fro if they have access to a lap top. It is the least governments could do considering all the money they are saving from school closures and busing kids increasingly longer distances at lower ages.

They could form study groups on the buses or tutorials.

If you think this would be a good idea just cut out a piece of ply board the right size to fit in between the seats and give it and a pack of cards to your son or daughter.
The best ones actually have a notch so that it fits snuggly around the seat side in the form of a H.
Comments:
would be great surfing for porn on the bus i bet! : )

I just threw that one in there wishfull thinking. I'm not even sure you can have an internet connection from those satellites while moving? But I think you can the cost may be to prohibitive not sure. You can do it on air planes and boats though might be through a cell phone connection?
As for the porn well boys will be boys which is why i said route it through a router firewalls and filters can be installed to prevent such Bad Bad boys LOL. Or something like hall way monitors.
Great spot for a chess club though or checkers.
Here is a company in NB who supplies mobile satelites for internet use.
