Newfoundland and Labrador is a seasonal province.

How are we ever expected to get ahead when our economy only operates 8 months of the year?

I say if a fixed link isn't feasible the least we can do is get some hover crafts to keep the link between NFLD and LAbrador open all year round with hover craft ferries!

Check for yourself the ferry service to Labrador shuts down during the winter months.

Here is the recent Marine atlantic report.

the recently announced CPC plan to build three ice breakers could also very well help to keep lines of communication and traffic open between NFLD and Canada.
