Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada's poorest Territory!
http://www.releases.gov.nl.ca/releases/2005/fin/1027n09.htm
It's pretty obvious according to this chart that NL is a victim of its size.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe the $800,000,000.00$ Quebec receives from the Upper Churchill isn't even include in Quebecs GDP?
GDP to follow.

Geeze the big winner is la belle Province - by a landslide. Funny how that works isn't it.
Nothing funny about it at all: Quebec is the equalization-receiving province with the largest population. Equalization is a function of (standard-MINUS-fiscal-capacity) TIMES (population).
On a per-capita basis, only BC and SK get less equalization than Quebec.
All four Atlantic provinces, and Manitoba, get more.

The point I was trying to make was highlight how NL being such a large land mass with such a sall and widely spread out population is more like a territory than it is a province.
Look at the Equalization the Territories get.
As for Quebec? Hard to put it in words.
I lived in Quebec for two 2 years and believe me I didn't see any reason for equalization. It had to be one of the richest provinces I've had the pleasure to live in.
Free out door concerts all summer.
Best of the best roads.
When you fly over Quebec it's like flying over a sea because there are that many back yard pools.
Was a great place to live if the animosity towards English Canada wasn't there.
No sir IMHO it's time not to let Quebec separate but rather kick them out!
NB gets Gaspe peninsula South side of Saint Lawrence and Labrador becomes a Territory with the lower North shore.
