Newfoundland and ????????!
I was reading the Department of Canada finace web site and lo and behold I realized why Newfoundland and Labrador is getting the short end of the Canadian/Federal stick. Labrador doesn't exist according to their web site it is just Newfoundland?
Maybe we need to rename Labrador, (NewfoundLabrador)! So the federal government can claim they just discovered it and say it is theirs? Or do they want to create animosity amongst Newfoundlanders and Labradorians so they can create a new territory and abuse the 30,000 peolple there, even worse than our combined numbers now of 514,000 now?

Federal transfer program that allows all provinces, regardless of their ability to raise revenue, to provide roughly comparable levels of services at roughly comparable levels of taxation. Eligibility to receive equalization funding is determined by a formula measuring each province's revenue-raising capacity against a five-province standard. Currently, eight provinces receive equalization: Newfoundland, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Quebec, Manitoba, Saskatchewan and British Columbia. What is the federal government anyway?
There is no province called Federal province? Unless you want to rename Ontario and Quebec Federal province. Wouldn't that make for a great marriage. Have at er boys well just stand back and watch.
Why does something that only exists in people minds and imaginations, require so much money to operate? It's not like there are native federalists, or Immigrant federalists or for that matter Expatriate Federalists? There is no land, and no people, just imaginations, agendas, and great big egos!
People talk about Ottawa and the federal government as if it were it's own province? In reality its only reason for being is the provinces, without which it wouldn't exist.
Will anyone really care or miss the federal government? Will there be any land conquered? Will a people be exterminated? NO!
Maybe its a plot to abolish wipe Labrador of the map?
Maybe its a plot to separate Labrador from Newfoundland?
Maybe its a plot to give Labrador to Quebec?
