Do they know something we don’t?
Global warming is outta the bag. Governments have ADMITTED it.
People haven’t responded to the press releases that Global warming is upon us. They continue to drive SUV’s squander natural resources, build on coastal plains, clear cut forests the lungs of the planet.
Is this the reason the federal government is slowly moving out of NL?
Is this the reason the US government is taking so long to send help to the people of New Orleans?
They aren’t telling the whole story? They don’t want the people to move back onto the reclaimed land because they know the next hurricane will only destroy anything they rebuild? Will New Orleans be the next Atlantis?
Same goes for the high gas prices people made no effort to curb their wastefull practices and the damage to the globe. The only way of enforcing global protectionism was to raise the price of a barrel of oil.
Hey is it such a bad thing to forcibly protect our planet? Because we all know that people on an individual basis fail to see the forest for the trees.
Study upon study has been released, Global warming effects higher water more frequent and ferocious storms. UV rays skin cancer warnings, Smog alerts etc etc. And people still continue to abuse the globe the world over without any sign of letting up?
Sorry about the ramble and insinuated big brother scam but I’m at a loss?
PS: I’ve always wondered what will happen once you suck all of that oil out of the deposits under the Grand Banks?
Water weighs a lot more than air, 64 lbs for 5 gallons I’m guessing. Anyone who has ever scuba dove knows about the pressure water can exert. That’s just on a floating object not like being put on your shoulders!
Just lift a five gallon can to know how that feels! Now consider the weight being put on the hollow cavities left behind once the oil is sucked out? What will happen once one of these cavities becomes a sink hole Under the sea, like has happened around some oil producing sites?
Can you say tsunami? Not under water you can’t!
Pump water back into the cavities! Maybe they are already doing this? They do it in Cold Lake more to liquefy the thick oil to help extract than anything else.
Wait a minute isn’t water the life blood of any planet?
These absurd profits oil companies are making should be clawed back to help reverse planet warming!
Ever hear of conditioning? Well the military uses it to harden troops to the atrocities they might encounter on over seas deployments. This price up a lot and down a little strikes me as conditioning!
