State of the Republic address!
I heard Premier Williams speak on VOCM the other day!
I have to admit for me it was like listening to the state of the union address from the President of the United States.
Only this was a state of the Republic of Newfoundland and Labrador even more heart felt and poignant.
This man has the best interest of NL’eans at heart and won’t be swayed by bribery and behind closed doors deals. I honestly think he would rather do nothing or die trying, than hurt the interests of the NL people and his own children and family.
Unfortunately I only caught the tail end, because it took me 10 minutes of trying to connect to finally get hooked up.

My only fear is that by his speaking up and out, the people who have the real power in numbers, knowledge and experience will relax and expect one man to do everything for them?
