BC-STV, Single Transferable Vote

If it is impossible to change our federal political system of Per Capita colonialism via the national poll itical PROXY parties of the majority because of the demographics of our federation maybe the provinces can lead the way to changing it by leading by example and not upholding the Status Quo.

It could be described as minority rights electoral system that gives a voice and rights to the minority voters ideals in a province.

Where as our current First Past the Post winner takes all losers have no voice or representation discriminates against any minority ideals voters.

Tyranny of the majority would be the academic term used to describe our flawed FPP electoral system.

STV was recommended by a Citizens assembly with no partisan affiliation or self serving agendas other than to recommend what was the best electoral system for it's citizens.

Jack Etkin Face to Face with Bruce Hallsor of Citizens for STV.

The Serenity Prayer

God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
(Federal politics)
courage to change the things I can;
(Provincial Politics)
and wisdom to know the difference.
